Our Mission
For too long America has made its heroes of rock stars, athletes, and actors who play heroes. The time has come to give credit where credit is due and honor these great heroes who sacrifice their lives with the legacy and memorial that they deserve.
With this mission statement in mind, the SOS Fund has begun the “Statues of Servicemen” Campaign. We currently are sculpting bronze bust statues of every fallen hero in the war on terror in Iraq and Afganistan throughout the country in the towns and cities in which they lived.
As a result of our SOS Fund national ad campaign, the SOS Fund has made a tremendous impact on how the families of our fallen heroes are taken into account. We believe that the SOS Fund is one of the reasons the Federal Government has recently proposed legislation granting the families much needed financial relief after a loved one is lost on the battlefield.
